Pay the visa fee of 99 euros, in cash or by credit card.

Entering work

For people who are not nationals of the European Union, the right to obtain work in France depends on the granting of a residence permit or a residence list. Students are generally eligible to work with a temporary resident card. All citizens of the European Union married to French citizens who have not applied for French nationality are subject to this condition. Once a residence permit is granted, the right to gain gainful employment is similar to the right of French citizens, although regional restrictions and French language may hamper employment opportunities.
