Explore some of London’s unusual Attractions – Discover the world-famous sights that London has to offer

If you’re going to Gatwick Airport, transfers can reach you in the heart of London in a surprisingly short amount of time. Once you’re there, you may want to see the many world-famous attractions that London has to offer, but if you’re looking to take things apart and see unexpected and less touristy things, consider some Next.

This area of ‚Äč‚ÄčLondon is located immediately north-east of the Roman and central borders of the City of London, where you can navigate transfers from Gatwick Airport. It is part of the famous “East End,” and in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, it was considered weak and disadvantaged. However, in the 17th and 18th centuries, it was a significant center for French Protestants who fled religious persecution in their country. They quickly established the lace industry and other businesses, and the region became relatively profitable. Explore the streets, and you will find incredibly well-preserved terraced houses in the 18th and early 19th centuries and beautiful churches that are part of its heritage. Today’s region is very desirable but also a small alternative.

It is also part of the eastern end, but in an area directly on the Thames. Just stand facing the tower bridge over the Thames, back to the tower itself, and walk along the river for 5-10 minutes, and you will be there. You could say that in the 18th and 19th centuries, it was the most dangerous part of London, and even from memory, the police only patrol the streets in groups. However, these days have gone by for a long time, and today, the area has trendy features, marinas, and restaurants/bars. The most interesting is that it has ancient pubs which have links with the pirates of the river and the executions by drowning (Prospect Whitby) and impressive architecture along the front of the river. There are also great views of the river.

As the name suggests, it was once one of the fortified Roman gates of the Middle Ages, although it is now over. From an architectural point of view, it is not so exciting – being a major road intersection – but it is an important border between the proper city and the east. Stroll east along the trade route or the Mile End road. As soon as you cross some of the mega buildings of big companies, you will come across colorful shops and restaurants of Indian, Pakistani or Bangladeshi, where you can see some particular and unusual products. Interestingly, this is part of a long continuity. From the middle of the 19th century to the middle of the 20th century, stores of Eastern European and Jewish immigrants occupied a large part of this region.
